A beautiful antique German porcelain figural candlestick / chamberstick by KPM Berlin, circa 1900. This exquisite piece features a finely modelled Art Nouveau lady handle with a flowing purple scarf, gracefully holding the candle socket. The candlestick is richly decorated in the Weichmalerei style with delicate hand-painted floral motifs in soft pinks, reds, yellows, and blues, complemented by lavish relief-moulded Rococo Revival scrollwork with gold gilding. Marked on the base with the famous hand-painted blue underglaze Scepter mark of KPM Berlin. Dimensions: Approximately 6.75" × 5.5" × 2.75" (17.1 × 14 × 7 cm) Condition: Good antique condition with minor wear to the gilding consistent with age. The candlestick with the purple scarf on the lady’s head has been restored with small metal staples.
