Shown is a Kralik art glass vase and original metal flower frog / or pot pourri pot; circa 1900. This cased, blown, iridescent glass piece shows beautifully. Diameter: - 18 cm. (7 in.); Lid diameter: 12 cm (4.72 in.); height without lid: 13.5 cm. (5.3 in.). The satin-finished vase with mother-of-pearl color is bathed in silvery iridescence. The effect is reminiscent of clustered pearls under light. The puffed organic glass form is further accented by the original cutwork bronze- brass metal flower frog. If desired, the piece is ready for flower arranging or to fill with pot pourri. This early Kralik vase is unmarked, which is not uncommon during the time. Condition is considered very fine, with minimal signs of wear. Having existed for over 100 years, this glass vase is quite pristine.
