£24.00

Available

A one-of-a-kind hand-carved spalted birch bowl with a long, sculptural form and distinctive natural markings created by the spalting in the wood. Its deep, narrow shape makes it a versatile piece for everyday storage and display. It works particularly well as a desk organizer for pens, pencils and brushes, a catchall for jewellery, watches, keys and small accessories, or as a serving bowl for nuts, sweets, crackers and other dry snacks. The natural spalting creates dark lines and contrasting areas throughout the timber, giving this individual piece its own pattern and character.
