This listing offers a choice of two individually handmade shallow elm wood serving dishes. Each piece is sold separately, allowing you to choose either the smaller natural elm design or the longer toned elm design. Their very shallow form makes them particularly suited to serving nuts, sweets, small snacks or appetisers while keeping the natural grain and organic shape clearly visible. Available Options Natural Elm 18 × 17 × 2 cm / approximately 7.1 × 6.7 × 0.8 in Natural light elm tone with a rounded, asymmetric triangular form. Toned Elm 25 × 14 × 2 cm / approximately 9.8 × 5.5 × 0.8 in A longer, curved organic form with a warmer toned finish and more pronounced grain variation. Each option is sold individually. Please note that actual colours and tones may vary slightly from how they appear on screen due to lighting, photography and individual monitor or device settings. Both pieces are made from solid elm wood and finished with food-safe conditioning oil and wax suitable for direct contact with food. The shallow profile works particularly well for small foods that benefit from an open serving surface, such as nuts, sweets, dried fruit or appetisers. When not used for food, either piece can also function as a small catchall or display dish. The character of each piece comes from a different combination of grain movement, colour variation and irregular handmade form. The natural version has a softer, lighter appearance, while the larger toned version has a longer silhouette and deeper colour. Small variations and natural markings are part of the wood rather than manufacturing defects. These handmade elm pieces can also make a thoughtful housewarming, wedding or traditional 5th wedding anniversary wood gift. Care Instructions: ❥ Hand wash with mild soap and warm water. ❥ Dry thoroughly after cleaning; do not leave the item wet or soaking in water. ❥ Occasionally recondition the wood with food-grade mineral oil or a dedicated food-safe board oil/wax to help maintain the surface and reduce drying. ❥ Do not place in a dishwasher and avoid prolonged soaking, direct heat or extended exposure to moisture. All wooden items are finished with food-safe conditioning oil and wax suitable for direct contact with food. Food, flowers, tableware and photo props are not included unless specifically listed.
