A handmade set of two elongated shallow wooden serving bowls, crafted from solid Amur cork tree wood (Phellodendron amurense). The two bowls differ slightly in size and depth, making them useful together for serving bread, fruit, cheese, appetisers, nuts, pastries, sweets or small desserts. Their elongated shape and raised sides give them more capacity than a flat serving board while keeping food easy to reach and present. Each bowl has its own natural grain pattern, with flowing lines, darker streaks and colour variations created by the wood itself. Because these pieces are handmade from natural solid wood, variations in grain, colour, knots, darker markings and small irregularities are part of the individual character of each bowl rather than manufacturing defects. Care Instructions: ❥ Hand wash with mild soap and warm water. ❥ Dry thoroughly after cleaning; do not leave the bowls soaking in water. ❥ Occasionally recondition the wood with food-grade mineral oil or a dedicated food-safe board oil/wax to help prevent drying. ❥ Do not place in a dishwasher and avoid prolonged soaking, direct heat or extended exposure to moisture.
