Large extra-thick walnut cutting board with an integrated recessed prep section, handmade for substantial everyday kitchen preparation. Made from solid walnut, this board measures approximately 50 × 27 × 4 cm / 19.7 × 10.6 × 1.6 in. Its 4 cm thickness gives it a substantial, stable feel for chopping vegetables, slicing bread, preparing herbs, portioning ingredients and other everyday food prep. One side includes a carved recessed section where chopped ingredients can be moved while you continue working on the main cutting surface. It is useful for keeping vegetables, herbs, fruit or other prepared ingredients separate without immediately reaching for another bowl or plate. The natural walnut grain, darker lines, knots and colour variations make every board individual. These are natural characteristics of solid wood rather than imperfections. Please note that we do not offer engraving or name personalization. This walnut cutting board can be used for chopping, bread preparation, vegetable and herb prep, carving and general kitchen work. Its substantial size also makes it suitable for preparing larger quantities of food. All measurements are approximate. Please review the photographs carefully before ordering. Care instructions: ❥ Hand wash with mild soap and warm water. ❥ Do not place in a dishwasher or leave soaking in water. ❥ Allow the board to dry thoroughly after cleaning. ❥ Occasionally apply food-safe mineral oil or another suitable wood-conditioning oil to help protect the wood. Because natural wood responds to changes in moisture and temperature, slight movement and changes in colour may occur over time. Only the wooden board shown is included.
